DESIGN TO IMPROVE LIFE CHALLENGE

The Design to Improve Life Challenge is a year-long school competition that gives students and teachers the tools for working with innovation in structured and focused environments. The unique aspect of the Challenge is that many different skillsets are invited to participate, and that the emphasis is on cross-disciplinary cooperation.

In order to fully implement a Design to Improve Life Challenge in schools on a national level, teachers and project managers and administrators need to be trained in how to do so. The objective of the Design to Improve Life Challenge training program is thus:

  • to train teachers how to use the Design to Improve Life Compass and guide the students through the Design to Improve Life Education methods.
  • to train project managers and administrators how to use the Design to Improve Life Education format and how to establish an organisational “backbone” to handle the administrative and structural part of the Design to Improve Life Challenge.

This training will run for four days. The first two days, teachers and project managers will be trained together and the remaining days, they will be trained individually with different focuses. The training can comprise max. 50 participants of whom min. 30 has to be teachers and min. 10 project managers.
