Last night over 1,300 guests arrived at Elsinore Kulturværft to celebrate the world’s largest design award, including the winners and finalists of INDEX: Award 2015, as well as the overall principle of design to improve life.
Our CEO Kigge Hvid opened the ceremony with a speech to greet all of our guests, in celebration of our 10 year anniversary, Ms Hvid shared a number of reflections, milestones, and thanks to all the individuals and organisation we have worked with over the years. We then received a welcoming from Troels Lund Poulsen, Minister of Business and Growth.
After seated, we were honoured to welcome HRH The Crown Princess of Denmark to the ceremony. INDEX: Design to Improve Life® is proud to be under the patronage of HRH The Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark for the sixth award cycle running since 2005.
Taking place on a two-screen stage, the evening was hosted by esteemed news anchors Steffen Kretz and Lillian Gjerulf Kretz, who presented the projects of our INDEX: Award 2015 nominees. On stage, the pair hosted a number of interviews with finalists, as well as officially presenting our winners with their awards.
